Mission Integration is not the responsibility of a single office. It is a university-wide effort coordinated across the divisions of Mission, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Human Resources, under the leadership of the president with advice and oversight from the President’s Council on Mission Integration.
In 2025, LMU introduced a new organizational approach to this work, shifting responsibility for belonging, equity, and inclusion from a centralized office to these divisions. The university’s commitments remain in place, with this approach intended to strengthen coordination and accountability while grounding the work more explicitly in LMU’s Catholic, Jesuit, and Marymount mission.
